Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS) was established in 2008 under the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). It is located in the Delhi Cantonment Area, and it functions with the primary aim of providing quality medical education to the children of serving and retired Army personnel.
The college is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) (formerly MCI). The attached teaching hospital, Base Hospital Delhi Cantt (BHDC), is a multi-specialty medical center where students receive hands-on clinical training.

Important Note: 85% of seats are reserved for children of eligible Army personnel. The remaining 15% are open to General category candidates.
